Kayli graduated from South Dakota State University as a Registered Nurse and began her nursing career on the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe Reservation, where she spent six years working on the Med/Surg Unit while also gaining valuable experience in the ER and as a triage nurse. During her time as a registered nurse, Kayli developed a strong passion for providing compassionate, patient-centered care and building meaningful relationships with the patients and families she served. Wanting to further expand her knowledge and ability to care for patients, Kayli continued her education and earned her master’s degree, becoming a Certified Nurse Practitioner. She is excited to now serve the community in her role as a Nurse Practitioner, where she can build upon her years of bedside nursing. Kayli especially values practicing in a rural healthcare setting, where she has the opportunity to get to know her patients, understand their individual needs, focus on preventative care, and work alongside them to improve their overall health and well-being.
Originally a graduate of Wall High School, Kayli is excited to have returned to the area and give back to the community she calls home. She feels privileged to care for the people and families in the community and looks forward to building lasting relationships with her patients throughout their healthcare journey. Outside of work, Kayli enjoys spending time with family and friends and, most importantly, raising her two young boys.
